NYFW FW 2016 Recap

It was definitely nice to be back in freezing cold weather (only -20 degree Celsius) for New York Fashion Week, but we thankfully warmed up quickly at some of my favorite shows. It’s easy to forget the cold when you’re watching the creative genius behind brands like Marchesa and Ralph Lauren. I fell head over heel for basically everything they sent down the runway—fashion week always exceeds my expectations.

Also this time around we stayed at a different hotel and it also went above and beyond what I had anticipated. For this trip we stayed at the hotel Indigo, on the Lower East Side, and it was wonderful. We had these breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline from our window, which was not only pleasant to look at but it also made it easier to shoot some looks because we didn’t have to go far out into the winter weather to capture the perfect shot. However, one of the good things that is sparked by the cold is creativity when it comes to getting dressed, and there was definitely a lot of variety during the week. From casual collared shirts, thigh high boots and suede skirts to sleek daring jumpsuits, I enjoyed getting ready to hit the wintery streets of NYC and can’t wait to go back, as always!

Next up, Milan! Warmer weather on the way A
